Join Delaware Rifle & Pistol Club
Below is a summary of requirements for joining the Delaware Rifle and Pistol Club. Additional information can be found in the Application Information Guide and the DRPC
Adult Membership Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet the following legal qualifications:

- Must be legally permitted to own/possess a handgun/firearm (Per ATF Form 4473)
- Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident
- Must hold or obtain an active membership to the following organizations (see note below in red):

- National Rifle Association
- Delaware State Sportsman's Association
- Must complete the following club applicant events:

- Delaware Rifle and Pistol Club Basic Pistol Course
- New Member Safety and Orientation Class
- Marksmanship qualification course
Junior Membership Requirements:
- Must be a least 10 years old
- Must be sponsored by an active member of the club

- If sponsor is not a parent or legal guardian, the sponsor must have and maintain a written consent form the Junior Member's parent or legal guardian giving permission for their child to handle firearms under adult supervisor.
- Sponsoring Member must take full responsibility for the Junior member while on Club Property
- Must complete the same club applicant events as adult members
- Must comply with NRA and DSSA membership requirements
Note regarding NRA and DSSA membership: If you are not already a current member of the DSSA and/or the NRA, please do not join either organization at this time. You will be given information on joining these organizations at a club discounted rate during the New Member Orientation process.
