Join Delaware Rifle & Pistol Club

Below is a summary of requirements for joining the Delaware Rifle and Pistol Club. Additional information can be found in the Application Information Guide and the DRPC

Adult Membership Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must meet the following legal qualifications:
• • Must be legally permitted to own/possess a handgun/firearm (Per ATF Form 4473)
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident
• Must hold or obtain an active membership to the following organizations (see note below in red):
• • National Rifle Association
  • Delaware State Sportsman's Association 
• Must complete the following club applicant events:
• • Delaware Rifle and Pistol Club Basic Pistol Course
  • New Member Safety and Orientation Class
  • Marksmanship qualification course

Junior Membership Requirements:

• Must be a least 10 years old
• Must be sponsored by an active member of the club
• • If sponsor is not a parent or legal guardian, the sponsor must have and maintain a written consent form the Junior Member's parent or legal guardian giving permission for their child to handle firearms under adult supervisor.
  • Sponsoring Member must take full responsibility for the Junior member while on Club Property
• Must complete the same club applicant events as adult members
• Must comply with NRA and DSSA membership requirements
