DRPC Adaptive Shooter Program

Adult Membership Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must meet the following legal qualifications:
- Must be legally permitted to own/possess a handgun/firearm (Per ATF Form 4473)
- Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident
Must hold or obtain an active membership to the following organizations (see note below in red):
- National Rifle Association
- Delaware State Sportsman's Association
Must complete the following club applicant events:
- Delaware Rifle and Pistol Club Basic Pistol Course
- New Member Safety and Orientation Class
- Marksmanship qualification course

Junior Membership Requirements:

Must be a least 10 years old
Must be sponsored by an active member of the club
- If sponsor is not a parent or legal guardian, the sponsor must have and maintain a written consent form the Junior Member's parent or legal guardian giving permission for their child to handle firearms under adult supervisor.
- Sponsoring Member must take full responsibility for the Junior member while on Club Property
Must complete the same club applicant events as adult members
Must comply with NRA and DSSA membership requirements

Note regarding NRA and DSSA membership: If you are not already a current member of the DSSA and/or the NRA, please do not join either organization at this time. You will be given information on joining these organizations at a club discounted rate during the New Member Orientation process.
